Branding, Graphic Design, and Digital Goods Refund Policy
At Laura Ramsay Design, we strive to provide exceptional branding and design services that meet your needs and expectations. We commit to upholding transparency, integrity, and professionalism throughout every project, in alignment with industry best practices and our code of conduct. Below is our refund policy for all branding, graphic design services, and digital goods:
1. Deposits and Initial Payments
- Non-Refundable Deposits: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking and confirm your project. This deposit covers the initial consultation, research, and planning phase of the project.
- Once work begins, this deposit cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
2. Refunds for Branding and Graphic Design Services
Our services are customized to each client’s unique needs. As such, refunds will only be considered in specific circumstances, as outlined below:
- Before Project Commencement:
If the project has not yet started, refunds for payments beyond the non-refundable deposit may be granted upon request. - After Project Commencement:
Refunds will not be issued once work has started, including initial concepts, drafts, or revisions. Time, creativity, and resources are invested in every stage, making completed work non-refundable.
In the Event of a Dispute:
If you believe the delivered work does not align with the agreed-upon scope, we will engage in a collaborative review and revision process to address your concerns. Refunds will not be issued if the scope of work was delivered per the signed agreement.
3. Refunds for Digital Goods
Due to the nature of digital products, including templates, workbooks, and other downloadable assets, all sales are final. No refunds, exchanges, or cancellations will be offered after purchase.
If you encounter technical issues with your digital download, please contact us at laura@lauraramsay.com, and we will provide support to ensure successful access to your files.
4. Revisions and Satisfaction Guarantee
- We offer (on packages) 3 rounds of revisions to ensure your satisfaction with the final deliverables. Additional revisions beyond this scope will be billed at an hourly rate, as outlined in your contract.
- By approving the final deliverables, you acknowledge satisfaction with the work provided. Once approved, no refunds or further revisions will be issued.
5. Termination of Services
- If you choose to terminate the project before completion, refunds will not be issued for work already completed. Any unpaid balance for completed milestones will remain due.
- We reserve the right to terminate the project in cases of client non-responsiveness, scope creep, or breach of contract. In such cases, no refunds will be provided for work completed to date.
6. Compliance with Industry Standards
Laura Ramsay Design adheres to professional codes of conduct, including transparent communication, ethical practices, and delivering work within the agreed timeline and scope. If delays or unforeseen circumstances arise, we will notify you promptly and work towards a resolution.
7. Liability
We are not responsible for:
- Delays caused by client inaction, such as failure to provide feedback or required assets on time.
- Issues arising from misuse of digital files or deliverables.
- Refunds for dissatisfaction based on subjective preferences (e.g., a change of mind) once the work has been delivered as outlined in the contract.
