Go Canada
digital travel publication
Go Canada is a digital travel publication that features the very best Canada has to offer while providing inspiring features, guides and tips to make travel planning enjoyable and easy.
Challenge
We transformed Hearts of Canada into GoCanada, reimagining it as a bold and dynamic travel branding concept that highlights destinations across Canada. The challenge was to create a distinctive identity that stood apart from other Canadian-themed brands, avoiding overused symbols like the maple leaf while maintaining a uniquely Canadian feel.
Key considerations included:
- A friendly yet bold design aesthetic.
- A stand-alone red, white, and black colour palette for strong contrast and legibility.
- A design element featuring an arrow pointing right to evoke movement, travel, and forward motion.
The font needed to convey sturdiness and power, balanced with a hint of femininity and friendliness to appeal to a broad audience.
Deliverables included logo variations:
- Horizontal and stacked layouts for flexibility.
- Icon versions optimized for social media and 1:1 ratios.
This fresh brand concept captures the spirit of Canadian travel with a modern and unique approach, avoiding clichés while staying recognizable and impactful.
